I’ve worked on several reports, presentations, infographics, and room builds where I was able to design custom icons and vector graphics. Much of this work has been healthcare related so you will see an emphasis on that topic.
Select icons and icon sets are available for download at The Noun Project and Adobe Stock!
Empath is a recliner by Steelcase Health. The clean and simple graphics for the caster lock and Trendelenburg pedals located at the bottom of both sides of the chair are easily understood and legible without the use of text and clearly visible from a standing position, no stooping.
I volunteered on a United Way project with the Steelcase design team. We created a space planning guide for a nonprofit organization called Well House in Grand Rapids, MI. Well House offers permanent, shared, low-cost housing for people experiencing homelessness. The plan proposed a functional identity for houses and rooms in their ‘campus’ and these are the icons for each.
